Christmas 2009

Thank you to everyone who sent warm wishes and/or gifts for Holidays!!  We had a wonderful first Christmas with the kids. To my surprise Mason and Maddie both really got into opening (trying to open) their presents.  Maddie loved tearing and playing with the paper and Mason loved pulling off the ribbons and bows.  They are such fun happy babies. Its hard to belive that they will be 6 MONTHS OLD next week!

These are some of the pictures from the Holiday weekend:

Let it snow ...Let it snow ...Let it snow!

Tis The Seaon indeed!

Over a foot of snow, below zero temps, pulling out snow boots and snow suits, making Christmas cookie cut outs, hot chocolate, shoveling, scraping ice off the car, I'd say that Winter is officially here!

By the way: Ryan is loving the snow for some odd reason (he cant wait to go sledding)

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS BEFORE AND AFTER:

The trees across the street when the snow just started to fall

This is how heavy the snow is..the same trees after a foot of snow

On another note, Mason and Maddie are doing wonderful!!  They are getting so big so fast.  Mason is really losing a lot of his hair as Maddies hair is really starting to come in.  Both are still teething just terrible.  Slobber and drool everywhere and chewing on everything!  They have begun to giggle out loud in response to something they find funny, and are noticing each other much much more. (and actually starting some form of twin talk on occasion)  Watching them grow is so much fun, they honestly change so much every single day.  Here are some random photos of them from the past few days.

The Holiday Season Has Arrived!

I know I know, its not even Thanksgiving yet!  I just couldnt help myself. All of our many trips to WalMart walking past the Christmas isles, I finally had to go down them and I ended up getting way too excited.

This lead to me taking over the dining room table in order to make my own Christmas Wreath and garland (because I decided that I was just "not going to pay that much for a wreath that I could make myself") And then that lead to hanging the stockings on the fireplace.  Then I decided to pull out some of my snowmen and decorations, and then I bought candy and filled the candy jar with Christmas candies, and then...out came the Christmas tree!  And since the tree was up I just HAD to wrap the few presents we had already bought for the kids.  So whether it was on purpose or not...it is Christmas time at our house!
